The brand that gives women permission to slow down In a world that celebrates speed, productivity, and constant doing, there are women who choose a different path. Not to create more noise, but to create space.
The Sun & My Soul, founded by Jutta in London, is a women-led wellbeing brand born from a deeply personal healing journey. The brand offers self-care products and small daily rituals designed to support women through moments of emotional overload, burnout, grief, or the simple need to pause and breathe. The collection includes intention-led candles, bath rituals, calming objects, a meaningful gifts.
These are not products meant to “fix” women, but to gently accompany them. To remind them that slowing down is allowed. That rest is not a weakness. That they matter.
The brand didn’t begin as a business plan, but as a quiet inner process. And when that quiet began to resonate with other women, Jutta understood this was no longer just her own path.
What was the moment you realized your business wasn’t just a dream, but your new path? What sparked that shift?
There wasn’t one big, dramatic moment. It was a quiet realization that kept returning. I noticed that as I was healing myself through small rituals, self-care, and mindset work, other women were responding deeply to it too. When customers started telling me that our products helped them through grief, burnout, anxiety, or simply feeling unseen, I knew this wasn’t just a business idea. It felt like a calling – a way to turn my own healing into something that could support others.

How does your background in social sciences and mental health shape the way you create and lead your brand?
It influences everything. My background taught me that wellbeing is never just physical –it’s emotional, psychological, and deeply human. I lead with empathy, curiosity, and intention. I think about how products make people feel, not just how they look. I also try to run the business in a way that honors boundaries, rest, and sustainability, even when that’s challenging in an entrepreneurial world that glorifies constant hustle.
What has been the most challenging moment in your journey as an entrepreneur, and what did it teach you about yourself?
Burnout. Trying to do everything myself for too long taught me that resilience with out rest isn’t strength – it’s self-abandonment. It showed me that I’m deeply capable, but also that I need softness, support, and balance to stay well. That lesson changed how I live and how I work.
When you look at your brand today, what does it symbolize for you?
What feeling or message do you want women to receive when they connect with it?
To me, the brand symbolises permission. Permission to slow down. Permission to take up space. Permission to rest without guilt. I want women to feel seen, comforted, and gently reminded that they matter – not just when they’re productive, but simply because they exist. Self-care is a core part of your mission.
How does it show up in your everyday life?
It's not always pretty. Some days it’s journaling or a mindful bath; other days it’s saying no, taking a break, or asking for help. Self-care for me is about listening to my body and nervous system and responding with kindness, even when that means changing plans or expectations. What usually surprises women when they meet you or discover your brand? I think people expect a very “put together” version of self-care. They’re often surprised by how honest and human I am about struggle, boundaries, and imperfection. The brand isn't about perfection – it’s about real life, real emotions, and gentle support.
Which women or personal experiences have inspired you the most in your journey?
My younger self, honestly – the version of me who pushed through pain without knowing there was another way. I’m also inspired by women who choose softness in a hard world, who redefine success on their own terms, and who are brave enough to rest.
If you could whisper one sentence to a woman who is starting from scratch, what would it be?
You don’t need to become someone else to begin. You’re already enough to start. Your products carry a sense of calm, intention, and self-care. What makes them unique, and what do you hope women feel when they use them? Our products are created with intention, not urgency. Each one carries a positive message, a ritual, or a moment of pause – something that speaks when words are hard to find. I hope women feel grounded, comforted, and gently held. Like someone has thought of them and said, “You don’t have to do it all.”
